閉幕間際の大阪・関西万博に足を踏み入れた。入場権のみのチケットで、事前予習はあえて最小限に抑え、美術館に素手で向かうような姿勢で臨んだ。その結果、会場体験は単なるレジャーを超え、建築的記号の群れと身体的群衆行動が織りなす現象を観察する機会となった。
